| Dumfries and Galloway | ||||
|
Once nothing more than a market town, Dumfries has evolved into becoming the major city in the UK. Located near east side of the lowest crossing point of the River Nith, the city has become an important strategic, diplomatic, and social centre of the New World. Several bridges extend over the river, and many more have since been built. The Devorgilla Bridge is a major landmark in the city, and has been expanded with elemental magic to increase its solidity. Stranraer, located on the Southern shores of the Loch Ryan, has evolved into a major ferry port, closely tied to Dumfries. Ferries are vital for the supply of food and the exploration of Scotland's Islands, trying to locate a safe haven. |

| Hogsmeade | ||||
 Hogsmeade is no longer the bustling wizarding village it used to be. Since the zombie invasion, it has fallen into disrepair, and was abandoned by the majority of inhabitants. It is now the home of the various loners and rebels. Zombies other monsters occasionally make forays into Hogsmeade and anyone who comes here must be willing to fight, or hide, at the drop of a hat. | Edinburgh | ||||
 Edinburgh; capital city of Scotland and the biggest plague area in the country. The people unfortunate enough to live here live in fear. There are still supplies here, still food, but the risks of actually obtaining these things almost outweigh the benefit. Only the brave, or the stupid, or the downright desperate venture here. This city also has a large population of afflicted, power and magic flows out of control, and it is downright dangerous to come here without some sort of protection, without some way of guaranteeing your safety. Sure the city looks relatively undamaged on the surface. Broken windows here and there, and shops with their doors boarded over, but it's when you get below the surface, and enter the underground, that you begin to realize the true horror, an terror that grips this city. |

| Islands of Orkney | ||||
|
There are about 70 islands making up Orkney, and at last count, only 20 of them were inhabited. What does this mean? It means hope. It means that maybe there is salvation, and a place to call home again; home without threat of death or plague or monsters.
Stromness harbour, on the main island or Orkney has become a go-to place for those trying to escape. The town is safe of infection; at least, it is for now. Who knows what the future may hold? (wiki) |

| Liverpool was once a bustling metropolitan borough of Merseyside. Following its bombing, it descended into chaos. In recent years, it has evolved into being a major city in England and a connecting point for anyone seeking to travel north to Scotland. Although the city is no longer with electricity, running water, or any previous luxuries, it has become a hub for trading and travel. (wiki) |

Despite the heavy losses, London still functions as a semi-important city. Following the eruptions, in which much of the city was suddenly consumed by lava, many iconic buildings were destroyed or consumed. Many of the roads were flooded with lava, and some sections of the city were entirely consumed, forcing inhabitants to rebuild on top of the lava. Regardless of the damage suffered, the city has managed a shaky recovery.
Lava flowed over the River Thames, and now serves as makeshift bridges. Much of the lava has since been cleaned out, but magically enhanced bridges have been left standing to replace the real ones that were destroyed. The Tower of London is partially submerged in lava, with the west side almost completely covered, even stretching above the original structure. The east side, however, was left untouched. |

| Essex/The Wastelands | ||||
|
Essex is gone. Obliterated. A human, newly afflicted, newly woken to their powers detonated, destroying everything, killing the 1 000 000 or so inhabitants instantly. In the time it takes to blink, the city was gone. It was a staggering loss and haunts many of those struggling to survive. Essex now has a new name. The Wastelands
Some say ghosts wander these lands. Some say it is solely the home of monsters, some say this is all a lie, and venture their on their own, convinced they will find the things necessary to their survival. Not many of these people come back. All that is known about the Wastelands is that magic goes haywire there, and it is better not to rely upon your wand. (wiki) |

|
The White Cliffs of Dover have come to symbolize hope. Hope for those escaping from other plague destroyed countries, hope for those desperate to leave Britain behind. They offer a way into England, and out; they are the place to be for newcomers, for obtaining illegal imports and a few of lifes little pleasures. The few pleasures left.
Anyone left in any sort of official position turns a blind eye and takes part of the profits. Dover is, compared to pretty much everywhere else, a bustling city, a seedy underground. The place to come for anything and everything, no questions asked. (wiki) |

Scafell Pike, highest mountain peak in Britain is home to a variety of secrets. The mountain is littered with caves, gullies, and fresh water streams, and wildlife roams the countryside. Once, it was considered beautiful, and people would go wandering the peak for pleasure.
Now everything has changed. Never come here alone. And never, ever get trapped here at night. Who knows what sort of nightmares are hiding in the shadows, waiting for the right time, the perfect moment, to pounce! Sometimes life demands you travel. Zombies invade your home, plague comes to your once quiet village, a vampire has taken up residence in your loft. Whatever the reason, in this post apocalyptic world, some people must travel to find a safe haven, or to escape a nightmare.
Britain is a wasteland, and travellers must step carefully and never stop watching their backs. Sleep in shifts, or don't sleep at all. This country is no longer safe. |

Sometimes plans are laid that demand various people go beyond Britain, beyond Europe. And what is there beyond? Monsters. Horror. Death.
The rest of the world is no better off than the U.K, people are suffering and dying and losing control. These countries are not safe, they are not secure, and they are not a place to go for a holiday. They are the stuff of nightmares. |
